Kremlin Dismisses Reports on Russian Intelligence Alleged Tapping Trump Phones - Peskov

The Kremlin does not treat the reports on the Russian intelligence services alleged wiring phones of US President Donald Trump seriously, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th October, 2018) The Kremlin does not treat the reports on the Russian intelligence services alleged wiring phones of US President Donald Trump seriously, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

The New York Times reported Wednesday that US security services found out that China and Russia were allegedly tapping Trump's phones. The media suggests that the reported activities could allow Moscow and Beijing to influence the US administration's policies.

"Direct your questions to the newspaper, the newspaper probably has some detailed information on this issue to justify publication of such reports. In general, of course, we treat such publications with humor. We regret the fact that the newspaper thoughtlessly publishes information that probably indicates falling journalistic responsibility," the spokesman said, answering the question to comment on the reports.
