The initial work on the project has been completed. This has sent a wave of joy among the homeless.

According to sources, the prime minister received suggestions to announce the project on Oct 10. The prime minister will inform about the pilot project and other details of the project.
The legislation on ‘Apna Ghar Authority’ will be done in the centre while the authority will be established in the centre and provinces as well.
The process of registration of the homeless people will begin after the announcement of the project. The people will then submit the forms issued by Nadra.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far by the Housing Task Force on the PTI government's five million housing project and had directed it to finalize the modalities for its launch.
