MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th September, 2018) The so-called Small Group on Syria is not interested in the country's well-being because it has been plotting against Damascus and producing arms for terrorists operating in Syria, the country's foreign minister, Walid Muallem, told the RT broadcaster.
"What exactly is this Small Group? It comprises countries that have been part of the plot against Syria. It comprises the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. All of the weapons that were at the disposal of terrorists, who were operating in many areas across Syria, were produced by these countries' defense industry. Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are also among these countries," Muallem said when asked whether pressure from the Small Group was the only factor that prevented the constitutional commission from beginning its work.
The minister also expressed doubts over the fact that those countries would be thinking about the well-being of Syrian people after plotting against the country for many years.
