WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th September, 2018) President Donald Trump has directed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to open a supplemental probe into US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.
"I've ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh's file," the statement said on Friday.
The US Senate Judiciary Committee has requested that the probe be limited to current allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh and should be concluded in seven days, the statement noted.
