UNITED NATIONS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th September, 2018) The next meeting between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and US National Security Adviser John Bolton is currently being prepared, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday, adding that this format will help avoid further deterioration of Russian-US relations.
"The dialogue between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and US National Security Adviser John Bolton has been launched. They have met in Moscow, and after it, [they held talks] in Geneva in August. Their next meeting is being prepared now. This is something that will be able to support [Russian-US relations] and prevent them from deteriorating further," Lavrov told reporters in New York City.
