Mississippi Man Pleads Guilty To Bomb Threat Against Veterans Nursing Home - Justice Dept.

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th September, 2018) A resident of the US state of Mississippi has admitted to threatening to bomb a nursing home for military veterans and could face a decade in prison, the Department of Justice announced in a news release.

"Terry L. Magee, 38, of Bassfield pled guilty [on Tuesday] before US District Judge Keith Starrett to threatening to bomb the Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Collins, Mississippi," the release stated on Wednesday.

The Justice Department said that Magee called the main phone line at the Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Collins on February 17 and told the person who answered the phone that he was going to blow the place up.

Magee was indicted on May 2, 2018, the Justice Department added.

Magee will be sentenced by Judge Starrett on November 27 and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in Federal prison and a $250,000 fine, the release said.
