Sethi says he will be returning to media, along with his ‘chirya’
Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 11th September, 2018) Veteran journalist and former chairman of Pakistan cricket board (PCB) Najam Sethi has joined an upcoming channel ‘Aap News’ as president.
Najam Sethi made this announcement in a tweet last night. He said that he will be returning to media, along with his ‘chirya’ (sparrow).
He asked his followers to wish him luck in this new venture.
“I have joined Aap/Indus Media Group as President. Will be returning, along with my chirya, to the screen in urdu and English as soon as possible. Wish me luck in this new venture,” he wrote.
Aap news is a project of Indus Media Group, now led by renowned tv host Aftab Iqbal.

Najam Sethi used to appear on Geo News' program 'Aapas ki baat'.
He has also served as the caretaker chief minister of Punjab before the 2013 elections following which he was appointed as the PCB chairman. He resigned as the PCB chairman on August 20 after Imran Khan led-PTI government came into power.
