MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th September, 2018) Michael Cohen, the former personal lawyer of US President Donald Trump, wants to tear up his $130,000 nondisclosure agreement with adult film star Stormy Daniels, which was concluded in 2016 to keep her silent about her alleged affair with Trump, media reported on Saturday.

Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels, is suing Cohen for defamation over his denial of the affair, which had allegedly took place in 2006.

According to the CNN broadcaster, Cohen now wants the $130,000 confidential settlement back because he feels he no longer benefits from Clifford remaining silent.

Cohen, who had been Trump's personal attorney for years, admitted to securing the nondisclosure agreement with Clifford in August to keep her silent about the affair. At the time of Cohen concluding the deal with Clifford, Trump was a presidential candidate.
