The US Army Europe will send an additional 1,500 troops to Germany by 2020, US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell said in a statement on Friday.
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th September, 2018) The US Army Europe will send an additional 1,500 troops to Germany by 2020, US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell said in a statement on Friday.
"US Army Europe announced today that it will send approximately 1,500 additional soldiers to Germany by 2020, adding to the more than 33,000 American troops already on German soil," the statement said.
Grenell said the troops will assist in strengthening the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and European security.
