North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyun Joong confirmed on Wednesday that Valentina Matviyenko, the speaker of the Russian parliament's upper house, would visit Pyongyang later in the week.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th September, 2018) North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyun Joong confirmed on Wednesday that Valentina Matviyenko, the speaker of the Russian parliament's upper house, would visit Pyongyang later in the week.
"Russian Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko will soon pay an official visit to Pyongyang and attend a ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of North Korea's founding," Kim said.
The anniversary will be celebrated on Sunday.
Matviyenko said in late July that she would visit North Korea and the South in the fall.
