MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th September, 2018) Moscow expects a frank and serious conversation at the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Saturday, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said Wednesday.

"Both our side and the Armenian side have many questions, so we expect a frank, serious conversation on all issues that relate to bilateral cooperation and interaction in the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization," Ushakov told reporters.

Putin and Pashinyan are set to discuss key issues of the development of the Russian-Armenian allied relations, as well as cooperation in integration associations in the Eurasian space, according to the Kremlin.

Pashinyan became Armenian prime minister in early May following mass protests against his predecessor Serzh Sargsyan.

In July, Pashinyan had a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, during which he said that he expected Moscow-Yerevan relations to continue developing and to reach a new level.
