MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th September, 2018) Russia's Investigative Committee dismissed media reports about the "replacement" of the black boxes of Polish President Lech Kaczynski's plane that crashed near Russia's Smolensk in 2010.
"Work to open the recorders and copy information from them was carried out with the participation of aviation specialists from Poland, as well as their military prosecutor's office, and the opening of the last - the Polish one - and copying of information from it, in Warsaw," committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko told reporters.
She said statements about any replacement or faking of black boxes by Russia "are completely groundless and are based on fantasies, not facts."
