A girl who was brought to Tehsil Hospital Mian Channu in a serious condition was not admitted in the emergency because of Punjab Chief Minister’s visit
Mian Channu (Pakistan Point News – 28th August, 2018) Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s protocol claimed the life of a girl on Tuesday as the emergency block of Tehsil Hospital Mian Channu was closed ahead of the chief minister’s visit.
According to media reports, the Punjab chief minister visited Mian Channu today to condole the death of his close friend's father.
Following the visit, he arrived in Tehsil Headquartes Hospital. The hospital administration had closed the emergency block for patients in view of the chief minister’s visit.
Amid this, a little girl who was brought to the hospital in a serious condition was not admitted to the emergency.
The protocol officer did not allow the patient’s family to enter the emergency despite repeated pleas. The girl finally lost the battle of life because of the chief minister’s protocol.
The family of the girl protested in the hospital over her death.
