BRUSSELS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th August, 2018) The European Commission on Tuesday issued a decision to add three militants to the sanctions list over their alleged links to terrorist organizations, such as the Islamic State and al-Qaeda, both banned in Russia.
The list includes Malaysian national Mohamad Rafi Udin, Philippines citizen Mohammad Reza Lahaman Kiram, Indonesian national Mohammed Karim Yusop Faiz.
All three are suspected of recruiting and training militants.
The decree cites the decision of the UN Security Council Sanctions Committee, adopted on Thursday.
