HELSINKI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th August, 2018) Finland's ambassadors in foreign states will hold their annual consultations on August 27 - 31 with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto and the country's government to discuss foreign policy, security and other pressing issues, the Finnish Foreign Ministry said.
"In addition to the issues of foreign policy and security, the agenda will include such topics as artificial intelligence, use of hybrid methods to influence information and Finland's upcoming chairmanship in the European Union," the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
Finland has its diplomatic missions in 172 states. The country will succeed Romania as the EU presiding member on July 1 next year.
