Gen. Igor Konashenkov, said on Saturday.
"The implementation of this provocation with the active support from the UK security services is aimed at creating another pretext for the United States, the United Kingdom and France to hold a missile strike on the Syrian government and infrastructure targets," Konashenkov said.
