PARIS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) Two people were killed and one was seriously wounded in a knife attack in the Paris suburb of Trappes, the Yvelines department prefect said on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, the police said they were carrying out a special operation in the commune of Trappes, located in the Yvelines department of the greater Paris region. Media reported a knife attack that claimed life of at least one person and left two others injured.
"The police operation has been completed. The RAID [elite police unit] has not been engaged. The individual was neutralized and killed � 2 people dead, 1 seriously injured," the prefect wrote on Twitter.
