Some 200 military policemen have returned to Russia's Chechen Republic from Syria after successfully fulfilling special tasks, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
KHANKALA (Russia) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Some 200 military policemen have returned to Russia's Chechen Republic from Syria after successfully fulfilling special tasks, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Two hundred military policemen from the Southern Military District have returned to their permanent bases in the Chechen Republic after successful fulfillment of special tasks in the Syrian Arab Republic. They were transported to the Mozdok airfield in North Ossetia by the Russian Air Force's Il-76 military transport aircraft," the ministry's statement read.
