Jam Kamal defeated Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal canidate Mir Yunas Aziz Zehri securing 39 votes.
Quetta (Pakistan Point News – 18th August, 2018) Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) chief Jam Kamal Khan was elected as the chief minister of Balochistan on Saturday.
The Balochistan Assembly session to elect the chief minister was held today. Newly-elected Balochistan Assembly Speaker Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo chaired the session that elected the chief minister.
Jam Kamal defeated Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal canidate Mir Yunas Aziz Zehri securing 39 votes. The MMA and BNP Mengal received 20 votes.
The newly elected chief minister will take oath of his office at Governor House on Sunday evening.
