In his op-ed for the Telegraph newspaper, US Ambassador to London Robert Wood Johnson urged the United Kingdom to back the United States in the issue of Iran nuclear deal and use its "considerable diplomatic power and influence" to exert pressure on Iran.
"Someone, according to the US ambassador, mandated Washington and London to ensure the well-being of Tehran. This is absurd � We consider everything said by the ambassador and many US politicians, as well as such approach in general, mistaken," Zakharova told a briefing.�
