PTI to give relief to elderly with free travel, pension delivery

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 13th August, 2018) The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to give relief to the elderly citizens of the country by providing them with free travel and pension delivery.

PTI spokesperson Naeem ul Haque took to Twitter last night and said that all the citizens above 60 years of age should be given free travel on Pakistan railways and all metro services available in the cities.

Moreover, he added that the pensions of the pensioners should be delivered at their door step or in the back accounts.

“All citizens over 60 yrs of age shud be given free travel on Pak railways and all metro services in Lahore ,Islamabad/Pindi and Multan. Also all pensioners shud be delivered their pensions at home or in their bank account rather than them standing in long lines at the bank,” he wrote.

The PTI emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly with 116 general seats while with the addition of the general and reserved seats of its allies the party claimed to have secured at least 173 seats, whereas Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party won 64 and 43 general seats of the lower house, respectively.

PTI chairman Imran Khan, who has secured a simple majority in the polls required to form his government, is set to take the oath of prime minister on August 18.
