Imran Khan had cast his vote in Islamabad openly, in front of the media.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 7th August, 2018) The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday halted the victory notification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan from all five Constituencies over a pending case of violation of code of conduct.
Imran Khan had cast his vote in Islamabad openly, in front of the media. Moreover, he had also talked to media on Election Day violating the ECP code of conduct.
Imran Khan had won all five seats he contested from, including NA-95 Mianwali, NA-131 Lahore, NA-243 Karachi, NA-35 Bannu and NA-53 Islamabad. The ECP has however withheld the notification declaring his victory.
The election body has also halted PTI senior leader Pervez Khattak’s victory notification from NA-25 Nowshera where had secured a victory against Hastam Khan Khattak.
