Imran Khan demanded to hold oath-taking ceremony at Faisal Mosque

The former ECP secretary said that Imran Khan possesses a more charismatic personality as compared to other leaders of the age.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 4th August, 2018) Former Election Commission secretary Kunwar Muhammad Dilshad has put forth a demand before Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan regarding his oath-taking ceremony.

He said that Khan should hold his oath-taking ceremony in Faisal Mosque and establish a new Islamic tradition.

The former ECP secretary said that Imran Khan possesses a more charismatic personality as compared to other leaders of the age. He wants to turn Pakistan into a welfare state as he said in his victory statement so he should hold his oath-taking ceremony in Faisal Mosque to set a new example.

PTI chairman Imran Khan, who has secured a simple majority in the polls required to form his government, had expressed his desire to take the oath of prime minister on August 11.

The PTI emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly with 116 general seats while with the addition of the general and reserved seats of its allies the party claimed to have secured at least 173 seats, whereas Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party won 64 and 43 general seats of the lower house, respectively.
