Shikarpur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh has won PS-7 with 50311 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-7 Shikarpuri-I constituency with 50311 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Ahmed Ali Khan Pitafi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 40824 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (F) candidate Faqir Abdul Khalique who got 39444 votes. At least 26 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-7. In 2013 elections, there were 160877 voters registered in PS-7, out of which 94630 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 58.82 %.
