Jacobabad (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Mian Soomro has won NA-196 with 92274 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-196 Jacobabad constituency with 92274 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Mian Imtiaz Ahmed was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 106595 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Javeed Iqbal Waraich who got 56342 votes. At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-196. In 2013 elections, there were 342027 voters registered in NA-196, out of which 200854 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 58.72 %.
