According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-180 Rahim Yar Khan-Vl constituency with 71988 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate ASHIQ HUSSAIN KHAN was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 72044 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate SYED MUHAMMAD ABDULLAH SHAH who got 57158 votes. At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-180. In 2013 elections, there were 296167 voters registered in NA-180, out of which 181154 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 61.17 %.
