Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Shakil Ahmad has won PK-18 with 33347 votes.
Malakand (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Shakil Ahmad has won PK-18 with 33347 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-18 Malakand Protected Area-I constituency with 33347 votes. In 2013 general elections, Tehreek-e-Pasmanada Awam Pakistan candidate Sultan Muhammad Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 13911 votes.
The second runner up was Awami National Party candidate Arshad Abdullah who got 12488 votes. At least 10 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-18. In 2013 elections, there were 118786 voters registered in PK-18, out of which 57261 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 48.21 %.
