Dera Ghazi Khan (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sardar Muhammad Mohiudin khan khosa has won PP-291 with 42141 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-291 Dera Ghazi Khan-VII constituency with 42141 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bukht was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 21759 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Makhdoom Muhammad Irtaza Hashmi who got 20036 votes. At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-291. In 2013 elections, there were 135025 voters registered in PP-291, out of which 77434 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 67.35 %.
