Dera Ghazi Khan (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghari has won PP-292 with 32423 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-292 Dera Ghazi Khan-VIII constituency with 32423 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Makhdoom Syed Mustafa Mehmood was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 36068 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate Molvi Muhammad Tariq Chuhan who got 19713 votes. At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-292. In 2013 elections, there were 146005 voters registered in PP-292, out of which 84137 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 57.63 %.
