Dera Ghazi Khan (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sardar Ahmad Ali Khan Dreshak has won PP-290 with 32375 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-290 Dera Ghazi Khan-VI constituency with 32375 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD EJAZ SHAFI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 42881 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate MUHAMMAD ARSHAD JAVED who got 19409 votes. At least 21 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-290. In 2013 elections, there were 146512 voters registered in PP-290, out of which 81941 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 55.92 %.
