Lodhran (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Zawar Hussain Warraich has won PP-224 with 60482 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-224 Lodhran-I constituency with 60482 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate WAHEED ASGHAR was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 42676 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate BASIT RIAZ who got 35049 votes. At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-224. In 2013 elections, there were 179075 voters registered in PP-224, out of which 107382 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 59.96 %.
