The importance of ‘Wednesday’ and ‘25’ in Pakistani politics

Many important events have taken place on 25th date and Wednesday, making it an important day and date for country’s political history.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 24th July, 2018) In the year 2018, there is a special significance of the date of July 25 and Wednesday, because polling on this day will decide the future of the country.

However, the day Wednesday has always remained important in country’s political history. Many important events have taken place on 25th date and Wednesday, making it an important day and date for country’s political history.

According to a report, general elections of November 16, 1988 were held on a Wednesday, in which the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) formed the government and Benazir Bhutto was elected the first female prime minister of Muslim world.

The day of Wednesday, October 24, 1990, brought success for Nawaz Sharif. On October 6, 1993, on Wednesday, PPP got victory in the general elections and Benazir Bhutto formed government for the second time. Moreover, the date of 25th is also a good omen for PTI chairman Imran Khan.

On March 25, 1992, a Wednesday, Pakistan became a world champion under the captaincy of Imran Khan.

Imran Khan also laid the foundation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on April 25, 1996 while he concluded his 126-day sit-in in Islamabad on a Wednesday.

However, polling across the country for general elections 2018 will also be held on a Wednesday, July 25. Let’s see how this day turns out to be and which political party will bag majority of the votes.
