Nawaz Sharif calls lawyer Khawaja Haris to Abu Dhabi

Nawaz Sharif consultting his close aides and legal team to avoid arrest

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 13th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supremo Nawaz Sharif has called his lawyer Khwaja Haris to Abu Dhabi.

The former prime minister has started consultation with his close aides and legal team to avoid arrest at Lahore airport while he has also called his lawyer Khawaja Haris.

Nawaz Sharif will come along his lawyer.

Meanwhile, the flight carrying ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz has been delayed.

According to media reports, Nawaz Sharif is expected to reach Lahore Airport at 8:15pm. The two were earlier to reach Lahore at 6:15pm.

Nawaz Sharif, along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz, is coming Lahore from Abu Dhabi on private airline EY-243 flight.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter are expected to be arrested right from the airport and will be shifted to Adiala Jail.

The PMLN workers will gather at the Lahore airport to welcome Nawaz Sharif while the movement of the PMLN workers is being restricted by the caretaker government as they have placed containers around the city and is arresting them.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team and the Punjab Government have made arrangements to maintain law and order in the city.

The police department has issued a notification to the Punjab district government to house arrest PMLN leaders ahead of Nawaz Sharif’s return.

According to the notification issued by Punjab police, central PMLN leaders, including Khawaja Saad Rafique, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Mian Marghoob, Bilal Yaseen, Saif ul Malook Khokhar, Waheed Alam, Rohail Asghar, Khawaja Imran and Riaz Malik.

According to sources, these PMLN leaders will remain house arrested for 30 days. Moreover, if any of the PMLN candidates tries to protest the arrest, he will be disqualified through the ECP.

Moreover, the mobile phone services will remain suspended from 3pm to 11pm in Lahore.
