Shahnaz Laghari announces to join PMLQ
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 2nd May, 2018) Pakistan’s first female pilot Shahnaz Laghari has stepped into politics.
According to a news report published in a local newspaper, Pakistan’s first female pilot Laghari has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ).
Laghari and other women belonging to civil society called on PMLQ leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and PMLQ president Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
Laghari is the first pilot of the world to wear a Hijab (veil). She wore a Hijab in all of her flights. Her name is also mentioned in Guinness book of world records.
