Calcutta: Bomb threat on plane

Calcutta, (Pakistan Point News – 20th September, 2016) : A bomb was reported at the Netaji Subhas Chandra International Airport on board an Air India flight AI-729 in Calcutta on Tuesday morning, 20 September. A threat call received around 8 am at the airport said that a bomb had been planted on board a Guwahati-bound Air India aircraft from Calcutta. All the passengers on board the aircraft have been evacuated and a search operation has been initiated by the CISF and airport authorities. Boarding was temporarily suspended. The flight was stalled and isolated and a bomb squad was called in.
