Rabita Committee MQM-P fails to convince Farooq Sattar

The three-member delegation of Rabitta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) has failed to convince its chief Farooq Sattar after senior leaders of the party split over the nomination of candidates for the Senate elections and suspended the membership of Kamran Tessori for six months.

KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News - 06th Feb, 2018) : The three-member delegation of Rabitta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) has failed to convince its chief Farooq Sattar after senior leaders of the party split over the nomination of candidates for the Senate elections and suspended the membership of Kamran Tessori for six months. Sources said Farooq Sattar rejected the recommendations put forward by negotiating team, comprising Rabitta Committee members Syed Sardar, Rauf Siddiqui and Javed Hanif.

Farooq Sattar has also called off general body meeting of party workers at PIB Colony and refused to go to Bahadurabad. As per the details, both Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan disagreed with each other on the party candidates, in a meeting held at Bahadurabad office on Monday. The session, which was attended by senior leadership of MQM-P, including Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Waseem Akhtar, Nasreen Jalil, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and others, ended in a chaos.
