Price of one tola gold reaches Rs529, 162 after latest surge in local markets
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Feb 4th, 2026) The Gold prices continued their upward trend across Pakistan and went up by Rs14,800 per tola.
The All Pakistan Sarafa, Gems & Jewelers Association reported that after the latest increase, the price of one tola of gold reached Rs 529,162.
The association added that the price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs 12,689, reaching Rs 453,671.
In the international market, gold prices increased by USD 148, taking the rate to USD 5,064 per ounce.
It may be mentioned here that the gold prices have gone so high that the middle class or the lower middle class cannot afford to buy it. Most of the weddings in these circles are taking place with the artificial jewelry. The women and girls can just dream to wear gold ornaments in the given situation of sky-rocketing price hike.
