In the context of ongoing tensions in the Gulf region and rising hostility between the United States and Iran, prices of petroleum products (POL) are likely to go up by as much as Rs9.47 per liter for the next fortnight starting February 1, 2026.
According to price estimates prepared by relevant authorities, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) may increase by up to Rs9.47 per liter.
Additionally, kerosene oil is expected to rise by Rs3.69 per liter, while light diesel oil (LDO) may see an increase of Rs6.95 per liter.
