IHC gives police one week to find missing NCCIA officer Usman and his wife.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,24, 2025) Ten days after the disappearance of National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Deputy Director Usman, authorities have yet to trace his whereabouts, Express news reported.
During the hearing, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) expressed concern over the slow progress and granted police one more week to recover the missing officer. Justice Azam Khan directed investigators to check WhatsApp data records and emphasized that the goal is to resolve the case, not merely seek extensions.
Police informed the court that Usman’s wife, Rozina, is also missing. Her phone has been switched off since October 18, and her residence was found locked with the children missing as well.
According to the investigation team, Deputy Director Usman was working on the TikToker Ducky Bhai case before going missing, and other individuals linked to that case have also disappeared.
The IHC adjourned the hearing until October 31, instructing police to submit progress reports and intensify efforts for the couple’s recovery.
