ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 15th August, 2016) : Rotary Club of Islamabad (Metropolitan) in collaboration with Roshni Maktab school organized a "Hum hain Pakistan art workshop" here Monday in celebration of Pakistan's 69th Independence Day. The fun-filled activity involved around 80 children aged 5-13 years of Muslim colony near Bari Imam, said a press release. Rotary Club provided the art materials which children used to express their love for Pakistan under the guidance of young artists from National Council of Arts (NCA) Rawalpindi.
The air filled with chants of Pakistan Zindabad as the enthusiasm of children was fueled by patriotic songs. Rotary espouses the motto "Rotary Serving Humanity" hoping to educate, engage and motivate children who suffer social, educational and economic deprivation. The event was well-attended by members of the Rotary Club along with their families and friends.
