Lawyers Boycott Court Proceedings In Protest

HYDERABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : Outraged by Monday's terrorist attack in Quetta's Civil Hospital, which left more than 70 innocent people killed, the lawyers community here Tuesday boycotted proceedings of the courts and wore black armbands. The call for the protest was given by Pakistan Bar Council and Sindh Bar Council. The lawyers associated with the Sindh High Court Bar Association Hyderabad chapter and Hyderabad District Bar Association stayed away from the courts. Talking to the media SHCBA Hyderabad's President Advocate Ayaz Tunio condemned the dastardly terrorist attack in Quetta and expressed solidarity with the affected people. He expressed resolve that the nation stood steadfast to defeat the menace of terror and that such attacks could not dent the determination of the nation to root out the evil of terror.
