Former Indian Ranji cricketer Amol Jichkar commits suicide

NAGPUR, (Pakistan Point News – 27th April, 2017) : In the wee hours of Tuesday, Indian first-class cricketer Amol Jichkar was found hanging from the ceiling fan. According to details, the former Ranji player was facing severe financial issues and hence committed suicide. 38 year old cricketer reportedly hung himself on April 24 but was found by the police next day. Sources have informed that deceased owns a famous restaurant in Nagpur which was opened few months ago with another former cricketer Vipul Pande. He was under a lot of financial burden that probably led to his suicide. Amol Jichkar was a off-spinner, took seven wickets in six matches of Ranji Trophy for Vidarbha from 1998-2002. He played the under 19 Vidarbha cricket.
