Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 يوليو 2026ء) The call came during ICAIRE's participation in the UNESCO networks meeting on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, inaugurated by UNESCO Director-General Dr. Khaled El-Enany. The meeting brought together UNESCO networks and specialized centers, universities, research institutions, and experts from around the world.
Dr. Majed Al-Shehri of ICAIRE said that achieving this vision requires strengthening integration among UNESCO's various networks, including Category II centers, UNESCO Chairs, universities, governments, the private sector, and civil society organizations, to exchange expertise, evidence, and tools while supporting the practical implementation of ethical principles at the international level.
He added that ICAIRE continues to support UNESCO's efforts by linking scientific research with policymaking, strengthening capacity building, supporting countries of the Global South, and translating international guidelines into practical initiatives that promote the responsible and trustworthy use of artificial intelligence.
