New York, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 29 يونيو 2026ء) This came during Saudi Arabia's participation as the Partner Country, represented by Saudi Dates, at the Summer Fancy food Show, held in New York City, the United States, from June 28 to 30, with the participation of 50 countries and 2,400 exhibitors. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors from around the world.
The National Center for Palms and Dates said the participation of several Saudi date companies in the international event provides an opportunity to help them market their value-added date products and enter the U.S. market.
The center noted that participation also highlights the quality and high nutritional value of Saudi dates, while strengthening their presence at specialized international events, affirming the importance of Saudi Arabia's palm and date sector in supporting the national economy in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Saudi Arabia's palm and date sector has recorded significant gains in both production and export value. Annual date production has reached nearly 2 million tons, while Saudi dates are now exported to more than 125 countries worldwide, with total exports valued at nearly SAR2 billion.
