Makkah, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 27 سبتمبر 2025ء) At the Grand Mosque, the number of visitors totaled 17,560,004, including 91,753 who prayed at Hijr Ismail (Al-Hateem). The number of Umrah performers reached 12,146,516.
The authority also reported that the Prophet’s Mosque received 20,701,560 visitors, including 1,002,049 who prayed in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. Meanwhile, 2,071,101 visitors offered greetings to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his two Companions.
The authority noted that it employs advanced technology, including sensor readers, at the main entrances of both mosques to monitor the number of visitors and pilgrims. The system enhances operational efficiency by tracking crowd flows and supporting authorities in managing them, as part of its partnership with relevant entities.
