New York, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 27 سبتمبر 2025ء) In his address during the session, held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, Al-Rassi stressed that the responsible and safe use of AI is a fundamental commitment across various civilian, military, health, economic, educational, and defense fields.
He pointed to the Kingdom's engagement in national and international initiatives and agreements, most notably the launch in May of the HUMAIN project, under the auspices of the Public Investment Fund. The initiative aims to establish a global AI infrastructure that enhances the Kingdom's position as a leading global hub in this field, in collaboration with major companies specializing in infrastructure, cloud computing, and advanced technologies.
Al-Rassi affirmed that such efforts are aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, which made AI a strategic pillar to accelerate economic development, empower human capabilities, and improve quality of life.
He further explained that maintaining international peace and security in the age of AI requires genuine international cooperation and a partnership-based approach founded on respect for human rights, alongside investment in responsible innovation.
Al-Rassi concluded by reaffirming the Kingdom's commitment to being an active partner in these joint efforts, ensuring that such technologies remain a tool for peace and development, rather than a means of division or threat.
