New York, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 26 سبتمبر 2025ء) The session, which took place yesterday, was attended by ministers, senior officials from various nations, and representatives of the private sector. It was held on the sidelines of Albudaiwi's participation in the meetings of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The secretary-general stated that these forums and meetings contribute to the exchange of opinions and viewpoints and the exploration of new opportunities to enhance the relations of the GCC countries with the countries of the world in addition to regional and international organizations. He pointed out that Gulf-European relations are distinguished, as the two sides have held more than five high-level meetings during the current year, and both sides seek to develop them to broader horizons.
During the session, the launch of the Alliance for Europe – Gulf Geopolitics & Investments Summit (AEGGIS) initiative, was also announced. This ambitious initiative aims to strengthen the strategic and economic relations between the European continent and the GCC.
