Buraidah, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 31 أغسطس 2025ء) The export yard at Dates City processes thousands of tons of dates for packaging and distribution to cities across the Kingdom and to more than 100 countries worldwide, including the United States, European nations, East Asian countries, and Arab and Gulf states.
Qassim Region produces more than 390,000 tons annually, contributing significantly to the Kingdom’s total output and reinforcing its leading role in local food security and Saudi agricultural exports. Farmers aim to surpass this figure by planting more than two million additional palm trees, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to boost non-oil revenues.
The export yard serves as a central hub for distributing dates both domestically and internationally. Each day, more than 500 medium and large trucks depart, transporting over 100 varieties of dates for which the region is renowned. These are delivered across the Kingdom and to processing factories that specialize in sorting, packaging, manufacturing, and converting dates into integrated food products. Additional quantities are sent to facilities focused on meeting specific requirements and quality control standards to ensure readiness for export.
