Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 31 أغسطس 2025ء) The ministry emphasized that the initiative falls within a strategic framework that enables individuals to directly contribute to the development of their urban environment through well-designed volunteer pathways tailored to neighborhood needs. These efforts are implemented through institutional partnerships and governance mechanisms that ensure efficiency and sustainability.
According to ministry statistics, the total number of volunteers participating in its initiatives exceeded 171,494 by the end of June 2025. Their contributions covered service, humanitarian, and development fields, including housing, community monitoring, environmental programs, and humanitarian initiatives focused on honoring the deceased and supporting their families.
The ministry noted that the growing turnout for volunteer initiatives reflects increasing community awareness and the success of efforts to transform volunteerism into a regular practice with tangible impact on residents’ daily lives. It pointed out that volunteer work is an important driver for enhancing social belonging and national responsibility while boosting the quality of municipal services.
