Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 30 أغسطس 2025ء) The talks emphasized the implementation of global best practices for developing digital industrial infrastructure and the transformative role of smart city technologies in accelerating industrial modernization. Both parties examined specific joint investment opportunities in smart industrial solutions, advanced facility automation systems, and internet of Things (IoT) sensor networks.
The meeting also highlighted detailed insights into the Kingdom's Future Factories Program, an initiative aimed at transforming 4,000 industrial facilities through automation and the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
The meeting further elaborated on the Kingdom's comprehensive competitive advantages, including its strategic geographic position connecting three continents, abundant natural resources, competitively priced energy, world-class infrastructure, advanced industrial cities, and streamlined regulatory procedures. These factors collectively create an optimal environment for attracting foreign investment and fostering technological partnerships.
Following the bilateral discussions, Minister Alkhorayef toured the Honeywell technology exhibition, where he reviewed the company's latest innovations in smart city systems, industrial digital solutions, and products deployed across more than 80 international markets. The meeting and tour were attended by the Saudi delegation, including National Industrial Development Center CEO Eng. Saleh Al-Solami, as well as several senior representatives from both sides.
The minister's meeting with CEO of Honeywell and his tour of the company’s exhibition was part of his official visit to the United States, which aims to strengthen economic partnerships between the two countries and explore mutual investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors.
